Marketing of AV incentive — Lapland

Need: Following the launch of the production incentive in the AV sector by the Finnish State at the beginning of 2017, Lapland is also in the new market and competitive situation in relation to other northern locations. Incentive money is distributed on a first come, first service basis, so contacts with suitable productions and customer relationships in Lapland must be established as quickly as possible. The aim of the project is to profile Lapland as a potential portrayal of large-scale productions that can be encouraged by the most interesting partners and to convince them of Lapland’s competitive factors as an Arctic location. The aim is to reach 50,000 people in the target group and to describe six eligible productions in Lapland during the project period. We identify the most potential partners and projects through market surveys or network surveys. We then contacted them on personal sales. The work will be supported by targeted digital marketing and customer management. Results: As a result, the income and employment effects of productions on Lapland will double, the skills and competitiveness of Lapland’s enterprises in the AV sector will improve and the Lapland brand will be strengthened significantly on the international market due to the well-earned visibility.
