The Scientific and Technical Platform Analysis of Biological Systems (PST-ASB) at the University of Tours brings together several platforms of analysis including the Metabolomic and Chemical Analysis (PMAC) platform. Its activity is based on the use of several equipment and apparatus providing the necessary information for the identification of molecules and complex mixtures, thus enabling research projects in human health (development of new molecules of therapeutic interest, understanding of biological mechanisms involved in various pathologies...) and animal production (optimisation of reproductive biotechnology and prevention of metabolic diseases) In this context, the project co-financed by the ERDF and the CPER appropriations aims to strengthen the research capacities of the PST ASB through the acquisition of a triple quadripole mass spectrometer and a sample smuggler. The objective is to allow the study of the metaboloma of an individual (man, animal) by means of a multi-matrix analytical approach (serum/plasma, urine, faeces, saliva, milk, semen, uterine fluid) and analytical multiplatforms. .
