The main objective of the project is the design and development of a new generation of diesel engines, based on K9, with the internal name of “K915 SDV g8”, for Renault, Nissan and Daimler vehicles, which in turn, at product level, has the following objectives:_x000D_ _x000D_ — Improved performance in terms of torque, power and brightness._x000D_ • Power: 81 to 85 kW_x000D_ • Pair: from 260 to 270 Nm_x000D_ • Brio: + 0.5 points _x000D_ — To present an innovative compacted architecture with such (reduced) dimensions to maximise the number of vehicles on which the engine can be loaded, with at least 25 vehicles._x000D_ — To anticipate compatibility with the new Euro6d temp regulation, especially as regards NOx emissions over a wide operating temperature range.
