The aim of the national project (“NP”) is to support the deinstitutionalisation of alternative care, in particular to increase the availability of professional assistance and to improve the implementation of socially legal protection measures for children and social guardianship (“SPOD and SK”) for the child and family. Through the NP, the implementation of legislative changes in the area of SPOD and SK, the essence of which consists of changing the philosophy of the implementation of the SPOD and SK measures in the SPOD and SK facilities, will be supported. The current types of facilities of the SPOD and SK, which are primarily aimed at professional assistance to children of a residential nature on the basis of a court decision, will extend their implementation of the measures of the SPOD and SK to the implementation of these measures in an outpatient and field form, as well as adapting the accommodation capacity for the child/child and his/her family on the basis of an agreement. In this context, a change in the implementation of those measures by the bodies of the JPA and the SK themselves is necessary. The NP will also support the development of the quality of the implemented JPA and SK measures. The NP will be implemented through the main activity “Supporting work with the child and his/her family”, which will be implemented through podaktivít:1.1. Promoting the coordination of work with the family1.2. Promoting the availability and professionalism of outpatient and/or fieldwork in centres for children and families (‘centre’); activity carried out in cooperation with partners1.3. Support for professional assistance to the child and his/her family carried out in a residential form at the centre on the basis of an agreement; activity carried out in cooperation with partners1.4. Support for professional assistance to a child placed in the Centre on the basis of a judicial decision and his/her family; activity carried out in cooperation with partners1.5. Support for deepening the knowledge and competences of professional staff/employees in the field of working with the child and his/her familyObjective groups NP:deti, adult natural persons and families for which the JPA and SK measures are being implemented; staff implementing social inclusion policies and measures in the public and non-public sectors; entities implementing the measures of the SPOD and SK NP will be implemented throughout the territory of the Slovak Republic.
