The City of Tartu has taken the next step to reduce the environmental impact of its transport system and is introducing biomethane in buses on urban lines, thereby contributing to meeting the European Union’s and Estonia’s climate policy objectives. The introduction of biomethane will increase the share of transport fuels produced from renewable sources and reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the transport sector.
