The project concerns the continuation and upgrading of the Thessaloniki Consultative Centre, in order to prevent and combat gender violence against women. The Advisory Centre is part of the nationwide network of supporting structures (Advisory Centres, Hostries and SOS 15900 Telephone Line) and is complementary to the project ‘Horizontal interventions of national scope’ to prevent and combat violence against women. The aim of the Consultative Centre of Thessaloniki is the provision of psychosocial and legal support services to women victims of violence and/or multiple discrimination (migrant women, refugees, single-parents, disabled people, unemployed, etc.), the development of networking activities with the local community and information and awareness-raising interventions to prevent and combat violence against women.
