Setting up Park North Zone

Setting the general objective of the North Area Park Project was in line with the ROP 2014-2020 objectives of Priority Axis 4 – “Supporting sustainable urban development”, Investment Priority 4.2 “Delivering actions aimed at improving the urban environment, revitalising cities, regenerating and decontaminating brownfields (including reconversion areas), reducing air pollution and promoting noise reduction measures”. The general objective of the project is to reconvert and refunctionalise degraded, vacant or unused lands and areas in the municipality of Ramnicu Vâlcea. The “North Area Park” project aims to improve the living conditions of the citizens of Ramnicu Vâlcea. The project aims to: — increasing the surfaces of green spaces at the level of Râmnicu Vâlcea; — reducing the negative effects of high temperatures and climate change; — improvement of air quality; — reducing noise pollution; sanitation of the northern part of the municipality; — improve living conditions; — offering a healthy way of spending your free time.
