The general objective of the project is to implement an alternative urban mobility system using automatic bicycle rental stations in the municipality of Slobozia. In order to achieve the general objective, the project proposes the implementation of an integrated, efficient and environmentally friendly system for renting bicycles in the municipality of Slobozia, which will reduce pollution and increase the level of urban mobility. Thus, the municipality of Slobozia aims to develop urban mobility by shifting the focus from mobility based on car use to mobility based on the use of bicycles as a means of travel, reducing the use of cars in parallel with the use of categories of clean means of travel. The project meets the specific objective 4.1 of the investment priority 4e of ROP 2014-2020, through the implementation of strategic measures, based on data from the Sustainable Urban Moiblity Plan of Slobozia, which will lead to the promotion of sustainable multimodal urban mobility and the reduction of CO2 emissions, as a result of improving the transfer to non-motorised modes of transport at the expense of transport by private cars.
