The project meets the objective of investment priority 6.1. Boosting regional mobility by connecting secondary and tertiary nodes to TEN-T infrastructure, including multimodal nodes, i.e. increasing the accessibility of rural and urban areas close to the TEN-T network through the modernisation of county roads. General objective The general objective of the project is to facilitate the access of the population, goods and services from Vaslui County to the regional and national market in order to stimulate sustainable socio-economic development, as a result of improving the connection to the national road network and the TEN-T network. The project contributes to increasing the accessibility of the population, goods and services to and from 12 rural communities of Vaslui County located near the TEN-T network on the local, regional and national market in order to stimulate the socio-economic development of the rural area of the county. The 12 rural communities of Vaslui county that will benefit, through the implementation of the project, from increasing accessibility by improving the direct connection to the TEN-T network are located in the western half of the county, from north to south and represent about 14 % of the county area and 16 % of its rural population.
