The Croatian National Plan for the Implementation of the Youth Guarantee focused on the rapid response to youth unemployment. However, as nearly half of all young unemployed belong to the long-term unemployed, there is a clear need to focus activities and towards this specific target group. The Croatian Employment Service has therefore prepared a range of activities, services and interventions that will encourage further training, vocational training, acquisition of new skills and competences, self-employment and inclusion in public works for young people.
