The project in question consists of extending the voivodship road No 835 Lublin-Wysokie-Bilgoraj-Sieniewa-Przeworsk-Kańczuga-Dynów-Grabownica Starzeńska, from km 90 + 490 to km 115 + 875 (Bilgoraj-Voivodship border) with a length of 25,355 km. The planned project aims to adapt the technical and operational parameters of the extended road to the requirements of its class (G). The project is part of the thematic objective of the ROP WL 2014-2020, by extending the existing provincial road, increasing its load capacity, improving accessibility to roads located in the TEN-T network – Voivodship road No 835 in the city of Lublin connects to the national road No 19 and brings traffic from Lublin towards Rzeszów. This section constitutes the final section of Voivodship Road No 835 in the Lubelskie Voivodeship. At the same time, implementation of the investment will ensure improved road safety through the construction of pavements, pedestrian crossings, lighting, etc., improvement of environmental protection, through the construction of animal crossings, rain drainage systems or drainage equipment. The load capacity of this provincial road will increase to 11.5 tonnes per axle. The project, by liquidating traffic, will have a positive impact on reducing bottlenecks and bottlenecks in the towns through which it passes (in Biłgoraj, the municipalities of Biłgoraj, Księżpol and Tarnogród).
