As part of the project, the applicant will grant grants for heat exchange projects by individuals or other entities in order to meet their own needs aimed at reducing CO2 emissions, other mixed dusts and increasing the share of renewable energy sources in the energy balance in a defined area of Lower Silesia. The growing interest of both individuals and other entities in the possibility of co-financing for the exchange of carbon-intensive heat sources in order to meet the needs is due to the growing taste of RES and other forms. The project consists of the replacement by residents of non-organic boilers and furnaces for new, more environmentally friendly and cheaper to operate heat generation systems by: • heat pumps (possible with photovoltaic installation), • gas boilers, • biomass boilers (pellet). Participants in the project (Grantocipients) will be selected through an open call with impartiality and transparency of the procedures applied on the basis of the criteria for the selection of Grants contained in the vacancy notice and the rules of procedure. Implementation of the project is planned in the municipalities of Domaniów, the City of Oławy, Środa Śląskiej, Strzelina, Malczyce, Kostomłotów, Wiązowa and Borowa Indices planned to osiągnięcia:Liczba modernised heat sources – 296 units – Estimated annual decrease in greenhouse gas emissions – 2228.88 tonnes of CO2 equivalent – Annual decrease in PM 2.5-1.42 and PM 10-2.46 tonnes – Number of built units for electricity generation from RES – 37 – Number of built units for heat generation from renewable energy – 74 The project will be implemented in partnership. The leader is the Domani Municipality. On December 27, 2018, the Project Agreement between the Leader and Partners was concluded.
