The subject of the project is the extension of Voivodeship No. 837 to pc. Nielisz-Sitaniec excluding the section of the railway crossing in the m.Krzak (km approx. 51 + 610 to km approx. 51 + 657. The investment will be implemented within the changed limits of the road lane throughout its entire length. The project aims to increase the transport accessibility of the region and the entire Lublin Metropolitan Area. Road capacity will increase and a more efficient transport system will facilitate access to investment areas and tourist attractions. The project will contribute to better exploiting the inner development potential of the district, improve communication links, which will accelerate the pace of socio-economic development. In addition to the above, good quality of the road is also an incentive to increase the mobility of residents. The investment will therefore have a positive impact on all user groups using the road: participants in transit traffic, local residents, students, present and potential investors and tourists. Planned output indicators: — Total length of reconstructed and modernised roads (CI14) – 16.350 km – Length of reconstructed voivodship roads – 16.350 km – Number of built/modernised road safety devices, Number of built/modernised environmental protection devices, Length of built roads for bicycles – their values will be determined at the time of obtaining technical documentation. The investment shall include: * this year’s road: earthworks, foundations, surfaces, road/street components, road lighting construction, traffic safety devices, vertical and horizontal markings, * construction of bridges and construction/reconstruction of culverts, * installation: (gas, water, sewerage) reconstruction and security of existing networks, * power generation – reconstruction and security of existing networks, * telecommunications – reconstruction and security of existing networks.
